I'm not the one who deals with the map, so I can't do much to help you, but I'm curious if you could clarify/specify a bit.
Personally, I always thought that all kitsune - unless they were nogitsune - tended to get along anyway. I mean, when you think about it, all the elements tie to each other in some way. It's more a balance thing than a conflict thing, or so I have always thought. *shrugs* There can be no shadows without light, no death without life, and all that fun stuff. I had the full circle in my head at one point, and I totally forgot it....
But maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean, too, so I really am interested in elaboration.

Kari does read this board, however, but thank you, good sir, for making me feel that my opinion as Co-Rah is worthless.
And by the way, if your idea is to be taken seriously, I would hope you would feel so kind as to elaborate so those who frequent the dream may also be able to see what change has been suggested.
When people just shove it off as "oh you're not the one I want to talk to" (If you only wanted to talk to Kari, why didn't you just email her your idea rather than post it here?) I tend to read it as "you're not the one I can manipulate" - I'm very wary of people who want to make changes but don't wish to explain it to everyone involved, as we've had problems in the past. Perhaps you are not just working toward your own ends, but certain things are beginning to remind me of someone else.

I have co-ordinated the Areas to the number of people who actually RP each element. Not many people play certain elements, like Mountain, Music, Forest, Ocean, River, and maybe two others. There's been an insanely large influx of Voids, Celestials, Fire, and Spirit, therefore they are some of the largest areas on the map. They will continue to remain thus, unless people start diversifying their characters and realize there's more than three elements.... As Haku stated, everything is in it's own balance, not conflict. Plus, I've made the map a particular size anyway. Any bigger and your Rah would be incapabale of loading the dream in a timely fashion (assuming a 5 minute wait time is timely...) Also, I don't think Kitsune are so much as territorial as just needing to feed properly from their element. If you've looked at the map, you'll see that everything has a little bit of other things in it. Like the Forest area, has dirt and such, along with Rocks and is even close to the "Bay" and the River. The Dham-Sha (Void) area has a pool of water within it, surronded by rocks and grass as the floor of the "Cave". To distingush between all the elements would actually leave a very bland map. My apologies if the current layout is unsuitable for your needs, but the way I see it is, it's your choice to come in, no one's forcing you to stay and RP. The only thing I ask of my patrons that frequent the dream is to follow the rules and utilize what's available. I can only improve so much at once, please, understand this.

Maybe it's the wording?

Kitsune live in the natural world as is anyways, and that's certainly not divided up into territories of elements. XD They can surely deal with things being divided.
As for the smaller areas of other elements... Well, Daelin certainly enjoys the larger foresty place, Kari. XD More area for him to trounce around in, even if no-one else ever tries to lay claim to the area, hehe.

Ah, it may well be the wording, Fayne. *heh* Guess we got into a misunderstanding, eh? I think that's why I have learned to get so wordy, though.... to try and explain myself (even though that doesn't always work either, it makes me feel better, hence why I get so damned redundant when I am passionate about a subject). But yeah, I think maybe it's the way you worded things. Online can be so confusing. >.< Almost as bad as phones... though I suppose with those you at least have tone of voice.
But yeah if all else fails there's also the use your imaginations aspect. ^^;
Er... may I ask why exactly Fayne's posts were deleted, or did he cut them himself? O.o;

To get the eight-tailed avatar, regardless of gender, you'd need a phoenix. XD No luck for you there, hehe, unless you're willing to shell out some money or win it (like I did, heh).
If you really wanna have him gain another tail, just do what everyone else does, and put eight-tailed in your description and use whichever avatar you like. We don't enforce the avatarness for those who'd need digos to get their character to look like what they should be.

*blinks at Ryd* Huh? Is there some invisible post I'm not seeing or... where the the avatar thing come from? O.o
Though I will say, I prefer for those who do not have access to the avatar, still use the highest number of tails they DO have access to, just for the sake of making sure people who are too dumb to pay attention to descs show the proper respect to their elders. lol

Erk, yeah, FHH had made a post asking about them...
Strange. I've seen a number of posts 'disappearing' over the past couple of days. >.> Someone's deleting stuffish, mayhap?

Really, you shouldn't do that. >.> If someone else ends up having the same question, then they can just find their answers here without having to ask again...
Having a bunch of responses to nothing just looks silly on a halfways-professional board, besides.

I agree with Ryd there - it gives us a thread to point to if somebody says "hey why don't you do <insert random thingummy here>?" That and if you delete it too soon, you rah-type peoples won't get the chance to even see what the hell anybody was talking about.
*wonders if there is a way to delete non-mod ability to delete posts* I could just be evil and force it. >.> <.<

Hehehe, it might be an admin-only type thing if there were... Dunno if you moderator folks would have the ability. But as far as I know, that sorta thing wouldn't even exist - normally, folk don't go deleting their own posts all the time, except if they've done something stupid. >.>

Im in deep thought. Im thinking seriously about creating my own kitsune dream, before I get constructive critisem and comments about copyright issuses, just know Ill have everything legal in balance before I begin. The name would be something like; " Road to Paradice ". Ive already begun premaps and things like that but I want your opnions about this more than my own. Personally, I think it would be a good idea.. at least when you take all perspective views into forsight.

Hm, what copyright issues do you mean? I think making your own dream is a good idea. I think it's good to have more kitsune dreams out there so people have a diversity of places to choose what fits them best. ^^ What kind of stuff do you want opinions on?

There are several ive been told about, if you cant find any, then I will just begin molding this mess of a dream. Another thing, I want to speak to you all about " Day and night ", and perhaps some other weather effects. What do you think?
Another thing I almost failed to mention. I am so "Sick" of noobs. Oh my god.. its disturbing to see some random person come to paradice, describe what their cat looks like as their desc and then say they have 9 tails. This has to be the biggest problem we have, one of the few. As much as I would like to change some things around, its not my place but im going to compile a few strong suggestions.
1. The amount of time a player is commonly seen in paradice should determine how many tails he/her has.
2. Their descriptions cannot describe something ireliavent. Ill use an example I saw the other day. (ex)1. [ A cute 9 tailed kitsune runs around mischieveously looking up schoolgirls skirts. He is cute enough to get away with it. ] Dear god, this is the absolute worst ive ever seen.
3. God moding, im sure you have all heard this term once or twice, many kitsunes in paradice like to spar, but another one of the problems we have is this, God moding. It means someone who pretends to be invincible and is not suseptable to pain, once again, this is just another stupid noob issue. However it can also be a problem within normal players, they tend not to acknowledge anothers tails if they have more. So they claim to be stronger, yet have less tails. This should be noted as a serious offence since it clearly states in kitsune lore that kitsunes with fewer tails had a rather modest and humble attitude twords those with more. Im not asking for anyone to be submissive, just recognize the tail count.
4. Events, I believe it would be possible, Im pretty sure if I gathered enough information, it would be tangible to exercise this. Im not really sure if their ever were events, but if their were then we should continue them.
5. Organized Role play. Wow, this has to be my favorite, when I say Organized, I mean a stage that has already been set, I was an already bulit story line, this particular notion goes only to the readers of this paragraph, before you disperse this thought, give it some thought, at least consider what you could do if givin the right time
This is all for now, please dont take any of this the wrong way, they are only suggestions and notifications.
